Spring is in the air and Valley Bike Month (April 1 – 30) is just around the corner.  Since you’ve attended Bike Month events in the past, we want you to be the first to know the dates of this year’s events.  In 2010, we’re all about safety!  Many of the events will include free helmets, helmet fittings, and bike safety rodeos.  Here’s what’s coming up:
  • March 27 – Glendale Family Bike Ride & Green Festival, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
  • April 2 – Valet Bicycle Parking at First Friday Art Walk, downtown Phoenix, 6–10 p.m. 
  • April 3 – REI Used Bike Drive, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • April 10 – Peoria Pioneer Days Family Bike Ride, 9 – 11 a.m.
  • April 11 – Scottsdale Cycle the Arts Bike Ride, 8:30 – 1:00 a.m.
  • April 17 – Chandler Family Bike Ride, 9 a.m. – Noon
  • April 17 — Avondale Eco Avenues Event , 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • April 18 – Bike2BBQ @ Papago Park, 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • April 22 – Bike to Work & School Day – Events are planned Valley wide
  • April 24 – Peoria Re-Cycle the River Bike Ride, 8 – 11 a.m.
  • April 24 – Mesa Bike4Life Ride, 8:30 a.m. – Noon
  • April 25 – Valley Metro Great Bike Chase Family Fun Ride & Arizona Diamondbacks game, 9 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • April 26 – Town of Gilbert Bike to Work Day, 8 – 9 a.m.
  • May 1 – Arizona Bicycle Club Desert Classic ride, 6 a.m. – 7:30 a.m
