Thanks to the crack WMRC Volunteer Team of Bill and Ann Peschka, Ric and Sue Surber, Dave Lehnen, Robin Roberts, Mike Parrish, Eddie McKee, Sid Ogino, Bill and Cheryl Heob, Chuck Higgins, Brother Christophe and Brother-in-Law Kit, WMRC once again showed their volunteer spirit over the weekend as they presented the Arizona Bicycle Senior Olympics.
The Senior Olympians really appreciate the opportunity to compete and WMRC was a part of that opportunity.
The Senior Olympians race just as hard as the USCF crowd and tend to be a bit more appreciative!!!
The only hiccup was the chip timer slept in on Sunday and showed up 20 minutes late!!
Ann Peschka and her five-star registration team made up ground, Robin Roberts got the print-outs he needed and we finished ahead of schedule!!
If you were not able to volunteer this year, I encourage you to give it some thought next year.
We once again showed why WMRC is the best!!!
